I am a fan! Been there twice this week as both times great sandwiches. Love the student special of sandwich, side and drink for five bucks! Great customer service. Fixed my order after they got it wrong. Delicious lunch on a budget, head here and support local businesses!

It's a student hangout for a sandwich. The sandwich was small, but tasty. The atmosphere is a little dingy.

We went to DG's yesterday afternoon. First impression. This place is filthy. Soda machine was in terrible dis-repair. I ordered a hot Reuben Sandwich. It arrives as a mushy sub with teeny dabs of corned beef and sauer kraut. Obviously was put in a microwave before serving. The side of macaroni salad was very forgettable and was the equivalent of 4 spoonfuls. This is NOT a deli. It's a very bad sandwich shop. The Metropolitan Deli down the street is a far better choice.

Ok I have been here 3 times and everything I have had has been awesome. The String bean is my new favorite. The price is right and the grub is good. The tile floors could be a little cleaner.

I love this place. Great subs! But they are huge. Which is good for hungry students. This is defiantly a dive and has a fun atmosphere. I usually get the Great Steak. I'd recommend it!

No. This place is good. It's a sneaker. When I moved out of state some years back this is one of the establishments I thought surely I will find something equal or better. Nope. A place with more choices? Sure. A deli that delivers? Yeah. But there's something about this little punkin, it was the first place I ate when I came back to town. Small town feel without being backwoods. DG's I love you.

This morning as I was passing through New Mexico on I-10, I wanted breakfast. I didn't want Starbucks or Denny's, and I passed by a little white shack with a sign that said "Low Carb Wraps" on it. I stopped with my friend, and we were treated to some of the best breakfast burritos of our lives. $3 for a burrito with crispy hashbrowns, two eggs, sausage, and green chilies in an authentic tortilla. Delicious! Even better was the iced tea machine that had different flavors such as blueberry white tea, peach tea, and white tea pomegranate. This place is a dive, but I wish I lived closer to this place for an early morning (before 8 am) regular breakfast!

This place could definitely be cleaner inside. The main advantage is this place is cheap. The meat is cut too thick on the subs (but that's common for this area). Also, when I ordered an Italian sub, it had bologna on it, instead of mortadella.

Great place to grab a sandwhich !

DG's deli is average deli food for me. The reason why it's so popular is because of its relativity close proximity to NMSU. DG's lacks consistency in my opinion, sometimes when i walk in its dead and other times its a 15 minute wait. The food is the same way because I can order the same sandwich and its practically guaranteed to have a variation the next week. Not to be mean but thats about the only downside to this place really. Prices are decent and portions are good but definitely not the best I've ever had. The original manager sold DG's and opened up Metropolitan Deli a little farther down University but i think he sold that one too. If you seen both of them you can see some similarities in decor. Ha i know this because he gave me a cookie once. Anywho may the force be with you!!!
